German Darts Championship 2020

The German Darts Championship is the PDC Europe`s oldest tournament. The first edition took place in Halle/Westphalia in 2007. At the beginning of the European Tour era the event moved to Berlin before Hildesheim became the permanent location in 2013. During this time, “Halle 39” has developed into a real iconic location and the darts calendar is unimaginable without it. So it is all the more pleasing that even in the difficult year 2020 the darts will fly here again – with fans!

The public health department of the administrative district of Hildesheim has given the event the green light with a maximum of 500 spectators per session. In view of the current exceptional situation, the fans will also have to expect some changes. Masks will be compulsory in the entire venue (except on the seats) and immediately after admission hands must be disinfected. Drinks and food will be served directly at the seats. Furthermore, carnival costumes and fan chants must be avoided.
