The 2020 BWIN World Series of Darts Finals, which will feature the biggest names in darts including Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright and Gary Anderson, can – according to current information – take place at the Salzburgarena from September 18-20, 2020.
To make the event possible and to ensure maximum safety for spectators, PDC Europe, PDC, the Salzburgarena and the responsible authorities have developed a new concept for the event.
The core of this concept is the division of the spectators into four different sectors. These are strictly separated from each other inside the venue, and fans in different sectors will not come into contact with each other. Each sector has its own entrance/exit, sanitary facilities, food & drink outlets and smoking area.
In Austria, members of larger groups of visitors can also be in contact with each other. Therefore, tickets are being offered for one complete table per buyer in order to prevent several separate booking groups from sitting at one table. Tickets for up to eight people can therefore be purchased at one table, as long as they belong to one visitor group. A “table fee” will be charged per table and additionally a ticket price per spectator. This new pricing strategy leads to a price reduction of 15-20% if the table is sold out.
This means in a new ticket and price concept, and any tickets which were previously sold for the BWIN World Series of Darts Finals cannot remain valid. Fans who have already purchased a ticket for the BWIN World Series of Darts Finals must have it converted into a voucher, which can then be used to purchase the new tickets. All ticket purchasers will be informed by e-mail about details for this.
Fans who no longer wish to attend the BWIN World Series of Darts Finals can also get a voucher which they can use for all PDC Europe events, or have the money paid out starting January 1, 2022.
During the event, the generally applicable preventative measures apply, such as compulsory masks when moving around the venue (except at the seat and when eating and drinking), social distancing regulations and the disinfection of hands on entry.
